We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Santa's helpers were busy today. We spent the morning picking up toys for the children on our lists. At noon we packed up the sled. We had some difficulty with the trunk and eventually had to put everything in the back seat. It was a tight squeeze but as we drove around town, the load got lighter. First stop was DIRECTION 180 on Gottingen Street.

Then, it was off to Souls Harbor Rescue Mission on Cunard Street. The staff were pleasantly surprised and snapped a few shots of us for their friends to see, We managed to get a few too.

Next on our list was Shelter NS on the corner of Gottingen and Cunard.  Again, staff were helpful and got in on the fun.

While we were in the area, we got a shot of the santas outside the Friendship Center. We didn't make the delivery ourselves but we hear it was greatly appreciated.

We plan to make another set of rounds on Thursday. When we returned home this evening we found a bag of goodies waiting for us on the deck. We don't know who left them but they are beautiful and we will surely find a place for them.
