May 2021

May is here. The cold weather is going away, but it will be back in several months so we'll keep knitting scarves and hats and mittens and blankets for our project in December.

I have completed 30 of the dish towel sets, different color schemes. Nancy has a few baby blankets crocheted, I know that Mary and Nikki are working on hats and Helen has some mittens started. And a few of the other knitters are working on scarves.

Due to the increase in the number of active cases of covid-19, we are back to our safety protocols. We conduct our board meetings and various fundraisers online. Whenever we do a yarn exchange, we all wear masks and use safe distancing. We are confident that if everone does their part to protect themselves and others, that all these restrictions will be a temporary thing.
