Our Santa Under The Bridge Project has officially started for this year. We brought two Santa Sacks to the Bank of Montreal on Baker Drive in Dartmouth. That's our bank and one of our tellers goes to the Micmac Friendship Center, so we brought our donations for the Center to the bank and we'll let our friend be involved in the project by passing those gifts along. One of our other friends at the bank is also one of our volunteer knitters so the staff has been eagerly following our progress. Of course we wore our Santa suits. People in the neighbourhood don't seem so surprised when they see us popping in here and there.We made a quick stop at the Shannex on Baker Drive because that's where Mama Santa works.
Tomorrow, we'll be stocking up the sleighs and heading across the water to deliver small packages of hope.
